CHANGE: It starts With Me

We are all products of change. We cannot feel that we’re changing day by day. Yes, we’re changing, from our appearance to our attitude.
Change begins with us. Also leaders need for a change. To become a model, so with a good leader.

Everyone experienced changes ‘cause it is only the permanent thing in this world. As we continue our journey of life, we encounter different changes. Changes that make us responsible or irresponsible. And sometimes used as a ladder in pursuing the chosen battle of life.

In order to attain the heaven and earth, we need to call for a change. We can only do this if we start for our own; if I will start first with me.

MY DREAM, MY FUTURE

Having a dream is just like putting yourself to a successful one. Successful one which was what everyone aspires. A dream will stay a dream without any moves, but a dream with determination and pursuing powers is a dream comes true.

I am not dreaming of big things yet I’m just dreaming to have a good and a pulchritudinous future, to achieve and to reach my chosen goal of life. Goal of life that may bring the whole me into the door of success.

I’m dreaming to be a successful CPA someday. A CPA whom to be honoured about. I’m not fared with this kind of life- this is my basis. But when I entered my secondary life, here I am; a girl who wanted most and almost dreaming to be a CPA even if I have doubts in facing this. I have no other choice! It was hard, I know and my capabilities and abilities was not enough for such level of life. But I will do my best just to surpass this said to be challenges of life.

"KANNAWIDAN"

After the Vigan City Fiesta, another celebration sparks throughout the whole Ilocos Sur-Kannawidan.

"Kannawidan" is said to be the anniversary of the whole ILocos Sur. Different city were gathered and every town presented their own town products. They didn't only presented but they also made as a business.

There were also some towns that were not located here at Ilocos Sur just like the Batac City. Just like the other towns, they presented their own products, too.

Aside from this OTOP, one town, one product; as the celebration goes on, there were different programs that were facilitated and lots more.

Jan. 25, 2011

People of Vigan or what we called the Biguenos celebrate their City Fiesta every 25th of January. Different contest were held in this celebration.

The main highlight for this celebration for me was the Longanisa street dancing and showdown. Different Barangays visit Vigan just to watch this big affair. And everywhere was sorrounded with different kind of man.

We the Isnhs students also participated the two kinds of parade, the parade during the 21st and the grand parade which was held during the 25th of January. It was a great honor to join this such kind of activities.

That what Jan. 25 was all about, a meaningful and colorful celebration especially for us Biguenos.

REFLECTION

Time really flies so fast. Weeks from now, third quarter will soon to end and another lessons to encounter again. Just like on the previous quarters, we again continued making our activities which was designing HTML files. It was a triumph to discover such things that you've never met before.

I also enjoyed making our project together with my Kambal- Erwin even if we were disgusted and oppressed to the speed of our computer set.

Moving on, I will increase my strenght on waiting.

NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNING

Looking back, I see my old self, the ordeals that I've met and faced, a shattered pieces of me because of burden, the friendship that were formed and kept, and the moment that have been shared together.

New beginning but not the end of everything. Beginning of a healthy, successful and responsible life. I may not be a wise person last year, I may not be a perfect one but I will try to be a better friend, classmate, student, companion and daughter for this another year of living.

And of course, it is not really the end of everything. Three months from now, we will be entering the enormous world which is the college life. But I will surely miss those smiles and enjoy the remaining three months of my high school life together with my friends who completed and build up the whole me.

It's still a NEW year for us and a time to begin a new life. Enjoy what you have now and do what you want to do. God gave us another year for us to begin with again and regain for the wasted time last year. I know it's hard to begin but by a little, we can make it.

THAT WAS WHAT CHRISTMAS WAS ALL ABOUT

Christmas is an event most anticipated by Christians all over the world. It is the time where relatives and friends visit each other with great joy. Meanwhile, through out this celebration, everyone was greeted with this special greeting "MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR".

Children and all the young people loved to decorate their homes and schools with colorful ornaments before Christmas comes. There were also singing carols to remind us the meaning of the blessed birth of the Baby Jesus and during the Christmas eve, everyone is going to church and waiting for the dinner. Because of this, some thought that was what Christmas was all about.

Take your life to the wholehearted part. The true core of Christmas was not about this. It is about sharing and giving what we have to our family, friends and all the people around us. It is a season where sharing and giving glided up. Sharing and giving all we have: the love, the blessings and others. That was what Christmas was all about.
